An update for services to Liverpool

All the details you need for the new Liverpool Terminal

All sailings between the Isle of Man and Liverpool now operate to and from the Isle of Man Ferry Terminal at 1 Triskelion Way, Liverpool, L3 0BN.

The Isle of Man Ferry Terminal at Liverpool’s Prince’s Half-Tide Dock

The new terminal is just 800 metres downriver of the current Pier Head Landing Stage facility.

Foot passengers can access the terminal by the pedestrian bridge which runs from Princes Dock to Central Dock, and vehicle passengers should travel down Jesse Hartley Way to reach the new facility.

Stagecoach Merseyside, in conjunction with Liverpool City Council, will operate a bus service between the new Liverpool terminal at Princes’ Half-Tide Dock and the Liverpool One Bus Station, with the following schedule:

  • 1st July – 20th July: 10:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 19:30
  • From 21st July: 07:00 to 19:30
  • Starting November: Available on Saturdays and Sundays only, aligned with future Manxman ferry schedule.

For full information and to see the full timetable, please visit the Stagecoach website. Single adult fares are £2.00 and single child fares are £1.00.

Passengers with accessibility requirements should speak to terminal staff for assistance.

The full address of the new terminal is:

Isle of Man Ferry Terminal, 1 Triskelion Way, Liverpool, L3 0BN

(Please note, as it is a new facility some satnavs will not recognise the above postcode. Please use L3 0AY – this will take you to Jesse Hartley Way. From there follow the road around to the left and at the roundabout proceed to the terminal.)

The safety of passengers and crew is our priority. Our hard working staff have been working round the clock to bring this new terminal to completion and ensure as smooth a transition as possible.

As with sailing to any new facility, it will take time for our captains, crew and staff to become fully accustomed to the terminal, and rectify any teething issues. We’d like to thank passengers in advance for their patience and understanding while we get used to the new Liverpool terminal.

The new terminal features a cafe in the departure lounge. This is only accessible to passengers who are checked in. Vehicle passengers are able to access the cafe from the vehicle lanes once checked in.

There is a dedicated waiting area in the departure lounge for patient transfers.

We are committed to providing a sustainable, reliable, and high quality service for island residents and tourists, and we look forward to providing an enhanced travel experience at the new facility.
