Heritage Competition

The lsle of Man is justifiably proud of its rich and unique heritage that stretches back thousands of years.

There are many myths to discover, such as the Moddey Dhoo, a ghostly apparition of a black dog that is said to haunt Peel Castle. Or let the Island's mythological sea god, Manannan, guide you through the House of Manannan and learn about the Island's intriguing Celtic, Viking and maritime past.

You could also travel around on foot or bicycle; the Isle of Man is a walker's paradise boasting stunning natural landscapes and many cycle paths.

TheThe Isle of Man Steam Packet Company is a legendary part of the Isle of Man's history. Founded in the early 19th century, it began operations in 1830 and is the world's oldest continually operating passenger shipping company.
