The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company regret to advise that this evening’s Ben-my-Chree sailings at 19:45hrs and 02:15hrs have been cancelled.

Routine inspections revealed that ropes from a local fishing vessel have become entangled around both of the vessel’s propellers, and unfortunately the diving team are unavailable to clear the ropes this evening.

All passengers affected by the cancellations have been advised and the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company has organised an additional service  on board Manannan, which will depart Douglas at 22:30hrs and then return from Heysham at 01:30hrs.

It is hoped that the diving team will be available to attend the Ben-my-Chree tomorrow, after which the usual service will be resumed.
