The Steam Packet Company regrets to announce that all Manannan sailings for tomorrow, Tuesday 7th April, have now also had to be cancelled.
As reported previously, the damage suffered by Manannan has been found to be more extensive than first identified, and the necessary repairs will involve removal, repair and replacement of parts of these systems.
Our technical staff are currently working with specialist repair teams to source the necessary materials and spares needed. We hope to be in a position to announce a more definitive timetable by tomorrow although this is highly dependent upon our specialist repairers.
Steam Packet Company Chief Executive, Mark Woodward, said: ‘We would like to offer our sincere apologies to passengers for any inconvenience caused.
‘We are doing all that we can to restore normal operations as soon as possible and we will release further updates as information becomes available.’
