The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company is pleased to announce the launch of its sailing schedules for 2025/26.
This schedule release is a significant change in policy for the company and will allow customers to secure their preferred sailings up to 18 months in advance of their travel plans.
In recent years IOMSPC schedules were released for a 12 month period. Having reviewed customer feedback from the recent passenger survey, discussions with businesses and representatives of the visitor economy a decision to extend schedules to 18 months has been implemented.
With Manxman completing its first round of berthing trials at the Isle of Man Ferry Terminal year-round sailings feature in the schedule. This will further improve connectivity for residents and visitors to the Island.
As well as increasing access to future sailing schedules, the Company is also reshaping the services to the island of Ireland to improve connectivity and respond to changing travel patterns, with extra services to Belfast to provide an overall increase in services to the Island of Ireland in 2025.
Brian Thomson, IOMSPC Managing Director, said: “We are committed to improving our services, getting back to the high levels of reliability and punctuality we have been known for, and enhancing the customer experience to make sure we provide the best service we can. We’ve listened to our passengers and worked hard to increase frequency, flexibility, and accessibility of our services.”
The initiatives around pricing and scheduling have been informed by the recent on-island survey, which attracted over 3,000 responses from residents. The results of the survey found that frequency in service was a key area for improvement, with current island residents in the survey desiring year-round sailings to Liverpool and wanting to see more sailings to Belfast.
Customers can book sailings online here, in person or over the phone from 09:00 on 24th October 2024.
