Check-in & boarding
- Check-in opens at 11:30 for the 14:15 sailing and 22:30 for the 02:15 sailing.
- Car passengers should check-in at the vehicle booths located at the entrance to the port.
- Last check-in for car drivers and their passengers is 45 minutes prior to departure.
- Foot passengers should check-in at the Passenger Terminal. Last check in for foot passengers is 25 minutes prior to departure

Heysham Port is owned and operated by Mersey Docks & Harbour Company. Heysham has limited parking facilities.
Mersey Docks & Harbour Company charge £12.00 per 24 hours of parking.

Heysham Harbour train station is just a minute’s walk from the main passenger terminal at Heysham Port. If you’re travelling by bus, the closest stop can be found on Combermere Road, 1.3km from the terminal.

Taxis can be pre-booked through various taxi companies around Heysham Port.
