Check-in & boarding

  • Check-in opens at 11:30 for the 14:15 sailing and 22:30 for the 02:15 sailing.
  • Car passengers should check-in at the vehicle booths located at the entrance to the port.
  • Last check-in for car drivers and their passengers is 45 minutes prior to departure.
  • Foot passengers should check-in at the Passenger Terminal. Last check in for foot passengers is 25 minutes prior to departure

Heysham Port is owned and operated by Mersey Docks & Harbour Company. Heysham has limited parking facilities.

Mersey Docks & Harbour Company charge £12.00 per 24 hours of parking.

Heysham Harbour train station is just a minute’s walk from the main passenger terminal at Heysham Port. If you’re travelling by bus, the closest stop can be found on Combermere Road, 1.3km from the terminal.
