The flagship of our fleet
As the most modern ferry currently operating in the British Isles, Manxman offers increased capacity and unmatched amenities, making it the largest, most modern, and well-equipped vessel the island has ever had. With a capacity for 1,000 passengers and crew, it features areas for entertainment, families, and quiet spaces. Enjoy bright public areas, wheelchair accessibility, dining options, a family zone, pet lounges, and more.
Manannan
Speed and comfort combined
The high-speed Manannan has been a standout on the Douglas to Liverpool route since 2009. With bright and spacious seating areas, it offers a variety of seating options, including a popular forward cabin, a cinema lounge, a large bar area, and reservable lounges. Enjoy the café with its wide selection of food options, or relax in the Premium Lounge. The vessel also boasts a new children’s play area, upgraded pet kennels, and a more spacious retail area, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable journey for up to 850 passengers and crew.
Ben-My-Chree
Our back-up vessel
Ben-my-Chree has served the Isle of Man since 1998, providing dependable passenger and freight services. Now acting as our reserve vessel, it ensures continuous service and support when needed. Though replaced by Manxman, Ben-my-Chree remains a vital part of our fleet, ready to step in and support the island’s operations whenever required.
MV Arrow
Reliable support and essential services
Arrow serves as a back-up vessel for the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company, ensuring the continuity of island services when necessary. As a cover ship, Arrow can step in for Manxman during maintenance periods or provide additional freight capacity during peak travel times, such as the Isle of Man TT and Manx Grand Prix. With a capacity to support the island’s freight needs, Arrow also covers for Condor Ferries and Northlink, demonstrating its versatility and reliability. During non-peak times, the vessel is often stationed at Larne. Arrow’s role helps maintain service security and resilience for the Isle of Man.
