The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company predominantly uses British Pounds. We can accept Euros (notes only) but change will be given in sterling.
We accpet most major Debit / Credit cards (excluding American Express), Euros (notes only – change given in sterling) and cash. Our payment terminals on board accept Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Subject to operational conditions our catering facilities are available once you board the vessel.
Bars are open on board when departing from all ports in the UK and Ireland. This is not the case when departing from or arriving into the Isle of Man where licensing laws differ to the UK and Ireland. On sailings departing from the Isle of Man, our bars do not open until approx 1 hour into the journey. On all sailings we close our bar approx 1 hour before arrival.
All allergens are marked on the menu as far as possible. We're pleased to offer a range of vegetarian and vegan options. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the galleys on board we cannot guarantee any dishes are entirely free of gluten. If you suffer from severe allergies we would encourage you to bring your own food on board for absolute peace of mind.
Passengers can watch films for free on both of our vessels. There is a cinema lounge on board Manannan. Details of what films are showing are posted on board. On Manxman passengers can access our Bazeport on board entertainment system via any wireless enabled device. There is a range of up to date movies and films to stream for free. Passengers in private cabins can access the service via their TV screens.
Free Wi-Fi is available on board our vessels. On Manxman passengers all receive a limited amount of data for free. Upgrades to certain lounges and cabins include 1GB of complementary data. Passengers wishing to purchase additional high-speed broadband Wi-Fi can do so at the Shop/Info desk.
